Who’s Coming to Dinner? Meet Founder of Estelle Colored Glass, Stephanie Summerson Hall

Pull up a chair. We’re clinking pastel colored glasses with the fierce designer behind, Estelle Colored Glass. As a fellow female entrepreneur who jumped on the scene in 2019 with self-described, "jewels for your table,” we have admired Stephanie Hall’s timeless style and southern hospitality from afar since the very beginning. We were thrilled when the opportunity presented itself to interview her for our dinner party series. Her modern colored glass is swoon-worthy and may just find a home in an upcoming RRE design plan, soon. Santé!

What are you bringing to our proverbial dinner party?

An edible dessert and I am bringing my authentic self and my authentic voice.

What are you drinking?

Sparkling Water.

What’s playing in the background?

Soulful, instrumental music.

What are your three entertaining essentials?

Fresh flowers, homemade dessert and pretty tabletop pieces like our Estelle glassware.

You and your team design incredible lookbooks to showcase your products; how do you find inspiration and how does that come about? (P.S. We’d love to work together!)

We find inspiration from a wide spectrum of resources including the fashion industry, interior design industry and everyday people sharing snippets of their lives.

What item is a must for a couple’s registry to start their Estelle collection?

I would recommend a mixed set stemware set.  This gives the couple an opportunity to see six different colors at one time and to build out a collection from this reference point.

Your brand was inspired by your beloved grandmother. What cooking techniques or hostess skills did she pass onto you that you’d love to share?

My grandmother was an improvising cook who taught me how to use seasonal ingredients and to be very resourceful and not wasteful.

What advice would you give fellow female entrepreneurs?

Follow your passion and be persistent.
