My New Fall Crafts

Hey guys!

Anyone who has met me for even 3 seconds probably knows how much I LOVE FALL. Seriously, I talk about it year-round and I can’t even type the words I LOVE FALL without having my caps on. I have to yell it.

Last week Kristin talked about her fall favorites, and I couldn’t agree more with everything she said. Honestly, I have literally nothing bad to say about fall other than it doesn’t last long enough.

All that being said, one of the reasons I love fall so much is the plethora of beautiful fall craft supplies everywhere – EVEN IN NATURE. Fall leaves are gorgeous and I love to use them in wreaths and on table settings. I also love dried flowers, pumpkins, gourds, and all the lovely things nature gives us this time of year. I live for a good craft project and this year has been no exception.

This year though I decided to go a slightly different route and try my hand at (gulp!) SEWING. I’ve mentioned this in a few other posts before but knitting holds a special place in my heart. Sewing, however, is frightening territory for me and the thought of actually sewing a thing feels like an arduous mission.

Being the brave and adventurous soul that I am, I decided to live life on the edge and get some sewing supplies and see what I can work out. I’m proud to say I am really happy with the final product and may even have found a fun new hobby. :)

I ended up making (Drumroll, please…) VELVET PUMPKINS!

These sweet little pumpkins are chic and luxuriously soft. I used real pumpkin stems for the tops. I’m excited to share my work with you today and I hope you like these little pumpkins too! :)

What fall projects are you working on? I wish you all the best and the absolute happiest fall. <3

Til next time,

Brittany
