Meet Katie!

Hi friends!

I'm so excited to introduce Katie Stanley, a very special member of our event production team. She has worked with us for nearly three years and many of you have seen her hustling behind the scenes, helping me arrange flowers, load in and load out, and working her tail off on wedding and event weekends. We figured it was high time to give her some serious love on our company blog! I asked Katie to share a little bit about herself, so you can read for yourself below. Hey everyone! I’m Katie!

I’ve been working with Rebecca Rose Events since 2014 as a production assistant. My background is in Interior and Furniture Design, having graduated from both Salem College in Winston-Salem and Kendall College of Art and Design in Grand Rapids, Michigan. My previous design experience has carried carry over into event and wedding design/production seamlessly!

What I do:

I have worked with Becca + Betsy on numerous weddings for about three years, helping out onsite at events and behind the scenes. I work with the team primarily on event days - helping set up, work the event, and dismantle it once it is over. Over the past several year, I have assisted more and more with hands-on floral design and installations.  I love serving as part of the creative team - making sure that the smallest details of each event come together beautifully. 

What I love:

A few of my favorite things consist of all things product design (love getting lost in my sketchbook for hours at a time), coffee (black, dark roast, please), my two canine rescues (Roxie and Bodhi), music (currently feeling Maren Morris, Alabama Shakes, and Lord Huron), and writing (usually have at least three different story ideas running through my head each day).
