As many of you know, for the past 5+ years, we’ve proudly operated a separate little sister company called Rebecca Rose Creative. Just this fall, we decided it’s time for RRC to transform and it is no longer accepting new clients. Lots of ideas in the works for the future, so you’ll have to stay tuned for updates! In the meantime, since the RRC site is no longer showing new work, we thought it appropriate to share a few things here on the RRE blog.

Rebecca Rose Creative was created to cater to discerning clients seeking an a la carte approach to inventive, custom, and personalized wedding/social event design details. One of the ways that our extended team at RRC has served many couples over these past years has been to create bespoke invitation suites and paper details for weddings. As we closed out the final season of offering these services, we were so proud to partner with the team at Fearrington Village to design and produce Sydney and Jamie’s wedding this past summer. The paper details were vibrant and beautiful, and thoughtfully created to represent our bride and groom. While we’re no longer creating invitation suites on an a la carte basis, the same level of care and thoughtfulness will always be a strong hallmark of our comprehensive creative approach for wedding/event design here at Rebecca Rose Events. Every RRE client receives custom artwork, from save the dates to invitation suites to welcome boxes, napkins, tabletop gifting details, and just about anything else we can dream up! For these two, we provided graphic design/print production services, as well as comprehensive event design/creative direction and onsite styling.

So let’s take a look back at some of these fun details for Sydney and Jamie, with beautiful photography, courtesy of Nancy Ray.

Sydney loves flowers. Loves, loves, loves them! It’s not uncommon for a bride to tell us that, but Sydney loves them so much that she aspires to become a cut flower grower someday. In learning that about her, the artistic direction for this project became abundantly clear… we needed to incorporate floral elements throughout the wedding with our graphic design approach in a way that was consistent with the fresh flowers that would be present at the wedding.

Biblical scripture was another extremely important element, to both Sydney and Jamie. We introduced it first with this bespoke invitation suite (pictured above) that included original watercolor floral artwork with both digital and gold foil stamping print methods. Scripture was carried throughout other details on the wedding day as well in a way that was thoughtful, meaningful, and cohesive.

Out of town hotel guests received custom welcome gift boxes filled with some of Sydney and Jamie’s favorite snacks, including trail mix, peanut butter filled pretzels, and assorted fave candies, (yum yum yum… tootsie roll pops and jolly ranchers!) as well as an informational booklet with wedding details and a watercolor map we created of Fearrington Village.

Upon arrival at the ceremony site, guests were greeted with the couple’s custom monogram artwork. We love that Sydney and Jamie now have this wood sign to display as a keepsake in their home together!

These printed programs (above) were distributed to each guest at the ceremony, continuing the aesthetic presence of watercolor floral artwork and a consistent color palette.

Custom wooden signs adorned either side of the aisle, and we used the same scripture from Colossians that we first introduced as part of the invitation suite.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed an al fresco cocktail hour and found the most delightful escort card display awaiting them! Our bride originally found the concept on Pinterest and brought it to us, but we took it a few steps further to make it much more unique to her.

Each guest received a customized seed packet, full of wildflower seeds. The artwork incorporated actual flowers that were used in abundance throughout the wedding, such as burgundy ranunculus, peonies, blue thistle, pink garden roses, dark-centered anemones, etc. This was such a hit with the guests and one of our bride’s very favorite details. We can confidently say it was the first time we ever stuffed 250+ tiny envelopes with floral seeds, but there’s a first time for everything and this project was such a joy from start to finish!

Of course, once ushered in to be seated for dinner, guests found no shortage of cohesive design details there! The head table included watercolor place cards for each guest, and all tables had custom table number signs and candles carefully chosen to compliment the floral designs and centerpieces as well.

This wedding was so beautiful though and through, and it was an honor to be a part of it! Thank you Sydney and Jamie, for sharing your story with us and entrusting our team to help bring it to life. We hope to be back at Fearrington Village again soon!

Special thanks to the entire creative production team:
