Oh the Places You’ll Go! Our Bucket List of Dream Wedding Destinations

Part of the joy (and if we’re fully honest - the challenge) of being a destination wedding planning, design, and production team is right in the title itself - the destination! There is no shortage of challenges, potentially including but not limited to: language barriers, sourcing vendors/venues/materials in unfamiliar locations, researching/learning local ordinances, navigating customs and shipping logistics, etc. But alongside those challenges, there is also the profoundly exciting opportunity to explore the world and be freshly inspired by it.

While we have been to many stunning locales so far, we haven’t even come close to scratching our travel itch. We’re big believers in goal-setting and dreaming big at RRE and what better thing to dream about than the location of our next big project? So where do we all want to jet-set off to next? Becca’s Pick: The French Riviera

Any of the cities along the French Riviera would make for a perfect wedding destination. With the combination of beautiful beaches, luxurious hotels and restaurants and stunning historic architecture, it’s packed with opportunity for adventure, fine dining, and soaking up the natural beauty of the outdoors.

Betsy’s Pick - South Africa

We love the idea of an adventure-filled wedding week in South Africa! This destination has a little bit of everything in terms of activities to entertain yourself and your guests - from sightseeing in Johannesburg or Cape Town to hiking and exploring the many national parks.

Allison’s Pick - Scotland

Whether in a historic town or city or in the lush green Highlands, Scotland would make for the perfect location for any couple looking to write their own fairytale.

Emily’s Pick - Greece

The relaxed feel of this vacation hot spot would make a perfect destination for a couple looking to have a calm wedding weekend. The famous Greek blues and whites also serve up great design inspiration.

CC’s Pick - Switzerland

Imagine it - a flower-filled aisle framed by distant snowy mountains. Whether carpeted in white snow, or fresh green grass dotted with wild flowers, we can imagine so many possibilities for this dreamy destination!
