A Year in Review
How do we summarize all of last year? It’s impossible to do in one word, sentence, paragraph, or blog post, but it truly was exceptional. From the growth we experienced as a team, to the deeply meaningful relationships we enjoyed with our clients, the wide-ranging styles and design opportunities we were privileged to pursue, and the beautiful destinations that welcomed us, 2024 was one for the books.
Here’s a quick glance at some highlights as we look back on the past year…
We kicked off our season in Highlands with a four-day wedding experience in the Appalachian mountains and have never been so thankful for the most idyllic weather (especially in a location known for abundant rain since it’s a deciduous temperate rainforest!) See more from this weekend here!

Our next two projects brought us back to the mountains. We were overjoyed to celebrate Kimberly and Nick with a wildly beautiful weekend full of sentimentality, vibrant color, unique design elements, and so many moments of heartfelt connection. We have so much more to share from this one soon!

Our third trip to the mountains dealt us some tremendous challenges as Hurricane Helene ripped through the community mere hours before the wedding. With so much devastation in North Carolina, we are incredibly grateful that our clients, their guests, our own team, and all of our vendor partners are alive and safe. Though the original wedding plans were unable to materialize, we were able to execute an intimate wedding ceremony and dinner for the guests who were already in town, with the materials we hand on hand.
Our next destination project took us to a small coastal town and a private waterfront residence that held such beautiful personal significance to our clients. The sunshine and celebration of that week soothed our souls in ways we can’t even describe after the scary and challenging week we had just experienced during the hurricane. This one was special in more ways than we can count.
The month of November saw us traveling to produce events in both Charleston and Bluffton, South Carolina, as well as one here at home in Winston-Salem, NC. It was such a delight to celebrate Alexis and Jordan, Jessica and Bennett, and then wrap up the month with Chandler and Grant at Montage Palmetto Bluff.

The week after Thanksgiving, we loaded our vans once more and trekked back into the mountains to High Hampton in Cashiers to produce our final destination wedding of the year. This one, a three-day celebration for Katie and James, was planned, designed, and executed in only about six months. We’re so proud of how it all unfolded to wrap up such an incredible season just before we welcomed the holidays.
With gratitude and pride, we bid farewell to 2024 and welcomed the new year with open arms, ready to witness more joy, cultivate more beautiful relationships, and tackle more opportunities to create exceptional guest experiences. Follow along as we share more here soon!
