Maddie Gets Married: Save the Date!
For those of you who don’t know Allison Steinfeld, you need to get to know her!

I met Allison at my very first wedding with the RRE team back in September. She may at first appear quiet, maybe even a little shy, but it doesn’t take long for you to find out she is incredibly talented and sneakily sarcastic with a fantastic sense of humor. We quickly discovered over our weeks working weddings together that we may in fact be opposite humans. She prefers the winter to my preferred summer months, would rather stay at home for a quiet night in versus my preferred night out on the town, and recently discussed joining a birding group, whereas I am terrified of what I refer to as “flying rodents” and avoid them at all costs.
While she is the force behind all RRE graphic design, paper materials, and watercolor illustrations, she is also an accomplished children’s book illustrator! Check out her work here!
Despite all of our differences, I absolutely adore her and am so happy she is on our team, especially now getting to experience her artistic ability first-hand with my own wedding design.
After our initial creative session in December, Becca shared notes and ideas with Allison, so she could get started not only on the Save the Dates, but also begin thinking ahead on other graphic elements that we'll need as part of the overall event design. This design is a collaborative process between Allison and Becca, so that any stationery elements will always be cohesive rather than stand-alone items that are designed (or chosen) at random.
While I’ve only seen proofs of the Save the Dates, there have been other wheels turning, as well. The team has truly treated me as a client during this process, and much of this has happened behind the scenes, but I know there will be more to see soon when Becca presents the preliminary design plan concepts to us next month!
Take a look at some of the beautiful Save the Date proofs below! While I had the hardest time narrowing them down, I think we’ve landed on our final design. Which one is your favorite?
