Baby Shower at WinMock

Back in March, I attended the most delightful baby shower. This one was extra special because I was the guest of honor! I'm so grateful for my sweet cousin Starley, and Betsy and for all the work they did to craft this beautiful celebration. You two are the best and I am a lucky, lucky girl!

Other than the date, time and location - every detail was a surprise! Thanks to my dear friend, Nancy Ray, for bringing her camera along to capture these fun moments. I loved every moment of celebrating with so many special friends and family members!

The beverage bar was delicious and I think I had two or three raspberry lemonades! Betsy designed colorful, fresh flower arrangements and Starley crafted adorable party favors for everyone (including some delicious homemade treats!)

Each guest was asked to bring a book for our baby's library and I have to say...I was blown away! Her library is so full of the most wonderful story books that I know we are going to treasure for years to come.

The food was scrumptious. It was no secret that one of the only foods I loved to eat during my pregnancy was macaroni and cheese... so mac and cheese was definitely a part of the spread!

Everyone shared their best bits of wisdom on these little paper dresses and I've kept them to share some in Piper's baby book.

Of course, it's never a true party unless there is cake! My friend Chloe made the loveliest cake, don't you think? Each tier was a different flavor...my two favorites: Lemon and Lavender, and Cookies and Cream. Yum!

Huge shoutout to some incredible industry friends for sharing their love, talents and inventory to help create such gorgeous little party. To Jon and the team at Hauser, Chloe at Cakes by Chloe, Holly and Ben at Holly Tate Fine Catering, the gang at Winmock, and my sister-in-law, Jordy Lievers-Eaton at SquiddyShop: I love you all to pieces!!! The beautiful linens were from Nuage Designs (Eleanor - you rock!)

My grandmother (Mema) and cousin Starley traveled in from Houston, Texas. My Aunt Jean drove down from Connecticut (and made that darling diaper cake pictured above!) My sisters-in-law Jordy and Lisa traveled in from New York and Maryland. My mom was there too of course! Many friends from Winston/Greensboro/Raleigh, etc. came as well and baby girl and I were showered with so much love. It was the perfect day and I love being able to relive it through these pictures and remember the joyful anticipation we all felt, as we waited for Piper's birth

XOXO, Becca
