2015 Press Features
2015 was truly a banner year for us at Rebecca Rose Events. We’ve been anxiously awaiting the launch of this new website to share a recap of some of our favorite moments. Now that it’s almost the end of February (Seriously! Where has the time gone?!) we’re already solidly into our 2016 events. Still, there is so much to celebrate and look back on, and we’re going to share 2015’s memories with you in the coming days, weeks and months.
One of the ways we seek to serve our wedding clients is to always hold ourselves to a standard of editorial publication. What I mean by that is simply this… if something is unique, meaningful, and beautiful enough that an editor would want to feature it to inspire someone else, then it’s worthy of our clients’ wedding day. If not, our work needs to be better. This simple goal helps us continually strive to be intentional with design work, purposeful in the way we approach the planning process, and perhaps most importantly, it pushes us to create work that is original and unique. If we’re operating at that level, everybody wins! And it we accomplish our goal, our clients have a beautiful keepsake magazine feature or published editorial blog post to share with their families, friends and loved ones and hold onto as a keepsake that allows them to relive the day.
Our goal for the past two years has been lofty in reach, but simple in proclamation: let’s publish every wedding we do. And we did!!!
In April, we completed a destination vow renewal for Blake and Nicole in historic Charleston, South Carolina. We’ll share much more from this wonderful celebration soon, but we’re thrilled to announce it appears in the current issue of Charleston Weddings magazine.
In June, Caitlin and Davis said their vows in front of over 300 guests in one of the loveliest classic and southern weddings this town has ever seen. It was such a joy to work with these two and their families to craft an entire weekend of events to celebrate such a special love story. Much more to come on the blog soon, but be sure to head over to Southern Weddings to see more of the wedding here!
The following weekend, Nicole and Christian’s wedding took place on the grounds of the historic Graylyn Estate here in Winston-Salem. These two had such an infectious joy about them, not only on the wedding weekend, but literally in every single meeting, phone call, email exchange and conversation we had throughout the whole planning process. Seeing them become husband and wife, and being so involved with this celebration, were such privileges for us! Their wedding was published on Snippet & Ink this past year. Be sure to check it out!
In July, we celebrated with Whitney and Chase. For anyone doubting whether or not we can pull off a beautiful wedding in under six months, I give you these two as a perfect example. We started working together in mid-February and their wedding in July was every bit as filled with detail and thoughtfully executed as if we had been working together for 18 months. Their wedding day will be featured in the upcoming print issue of international fine art wedding publication, Magnolia Rouge magazine! We can’t wait!
In September, Robin and Jon were married in Raleigh at the historic Merrimon-Wynne house. Their wedding day was featured on the Southern Weddings magazine blog just yesterday. This story is so well worth the read... head over here to see it all now!
The fall months were particularly beautiful this year. Autumn in North Carolina is always my favorite season, but this September we headed to the western corner of our state for a destination wedding in the mountains. Caroline and David’s wedding in Highlands/Cashiers, NC was a true highlight of the year, but I can’t share much from it just yet! More to come soon!
In October, Meriwether and Lee were married at WinMock at Kinderton in a spectacular autumn affair. We can't wait until their wedding appears in an upcoming issue of Bridal Guide magazine later this year.
There were other publications throughout the year as well for styled editorial work, but our weddings truly have our hearts and it's been such an honor to be able to share them with the world and celebrate these publications with our clients!
Have a wonderful weekend... we'll be back on Tuesday!
