Madison and Rich’s Rehearsal Dinner at High Hampton

It’s hard to think of a more perfect way to launch a destination wedding weekend in the mountains than with an intimate, family-only ceremony followed by a newlywed portrait session in High Hampton’s famous dahlia garden and celebratory cocktails, dinner, and toasting with the wedding party. That’s just what this Thursday evening in September held in store for Madison and Rich, and we felt so honored to be a part of bringing this vision to life.

Though they hosted a much larger al fresco ceremony with all of their wedding guests in attendance later in the weekend, this Thursday was the ideal time to exchange vows in the Catholic church with only their immediate family members as witnesses. Photographer, Valorie Darling, was waiting just outside the church doors to capture their exit as husband and wife, and once newlywed and family portraits were finished… that’s where we picked up with the design and execution of this lovely, intimate rehearsal dinner that followed.

Madison and Rich’s bridesmaids and groomsmen were waiting for them on the lawn at High Hampton as they arrived after their ceremony. Everyone enjoyed tray-passed hors d’oeuvres and cocktails before adjourning to the wine room for an elegant plated dinner, cadenced perfectly to accompany toasts, roasts, happy tears, and laughter.
