A Destination Wedding at High Hampton Inn

Any great destination wedding weekend should build like a crescendo, with each subsequent event besting the one that preceded it, and the festivities ending on a high note, leaving guests wishing for more. When the dance floor is still packed and the guests are begging the band for an encore at the end, we know we’ve got a home run of a party on our hands.

That’s just how this weekend in Cashiers, North Carolina at the High Hampton resort felt. A beautiful crescendo that culminated in the most incredible evening of celebration. On the heels of Thursday’s intimate family-only ceremony and rehearsal dinner, followed by Friday’s pickleball tournament for the wedding party, a full day of outdoor activities for guests, and a bluegrass + bbq welcome party, excitement levels and anticipation were sky high. We lucked out with exquisite late-summer weather, and that fresh mountain air hit all the right notes.

Enjoy a look below at the design plan for the weekend, and a peek at the wedding day, with an outdoor lakeside ceremony, followed by cocktails on the lawn, dinner in the dining room, and late night dancing.
