Announcing our New Studio!
Goodness gracious, I'm so excited to make this announcement that I can hardly stand it! To say this is a dream come true would be a total understatement. Here it is:
For six years, my hope and goal has been to someday open a studio space in the historic district of Reynolda Village. I've always felt like it was just the perfect place for this business and Betsy couldn't agree with me more. We are so excited about our move. As an alumna of Wake Forest University, I think fondly of the past days as a college student when I walked the beautiful trail from campus to Reynolda Village to visit the botanical gardens, shop at the boutiques, or dine outside on the patio at the Village Tavern (y'all... their homemade chips and apple cobbler will always hold a special place in my heart)! What a treat it will be to get to do the work that I love so much in one of my favorite places.
Those of you local to Winston-Salem, North Carolina are undoubtedly familiar with this charming little community of shops, restaurants and office spaces housed in the buildings which once supported the estate of the R.J. Reynolds family. You can read more about the history of Reynolda Village on their site here. Our new design studio and shop will be housed in the cattle shed building and friends, it couldn't be more adorable!
It's not as if we haven't had studio space before, but this is just so different. As we've been diligently growing our little sister brand, Rebecca Rose Creative, we've felt an increased demand for a brick-and-mortar storefront. Therefore, while RRE operations will certainly be headquartered in our space as well, this creative studio and shop space will bear the name of our design and retail brand, Rebecca Rose Creative, on its doors.

We look forward to welcoming brides, grooms, party hosts, flower enthusiasts, paper lovers, and gift shoppers alike through our doors and we promise something special for every one of them. This studio will house our floral design workshop, as well as our stationery boutique and event planning/design consultation area. We're working on a another very special project too, to be announced in the next week or two. Stay tuned for more!
So when will we be there?!? Soon, I promise! We plan to open our doors before the end of summer, after we finish some minor renovations (follow along on our RRC instagram account to see some behind-the-scenes shenanigans starting this weekend). There is definitely a little bit of demolition, and a lot of paint in our immediate future before we can start moving our inventory and materials in... but in the midst of wedding season, we're going to approach this slowly and surely.
So there you have it! We can't wait to see you in the village later this summer! Want to join our team or know someone that does? Don't forget to spread the word about our Studio Manager position that Betsy announced yesterday.
Cheers to a beautiful weekend and dreams that come true!
XOXO, Becca
